Deann Soleil is a self-published author based in Virginia who focuses on writing forbidden and dark romances. She began writing in January 2025 after the loss of her maternal grandmother as an outlet for coping.

When not writing, she is a full-time social worker who works with victims of community violence to help them overcome their traumatic experiences.
